Some fractures are visible long before we understand what they truly are.

Fault Line began with a single line.

At first, it seemed like a division, a place where something had broken apart. As each layer emerged, the line transformed. It became a pathway, a landscape, a memory shaped by time. What once appeared as separation slowly revealed connection.

Nature rarely follows straight edges. Cracks become rivers. Faults become mountains. What we often perceive as damage is simply another stage of becoming.

Layer by layer, texture replaced certainty. Gold entered the composition not to conceal the fracture, but to acknowledge it. It does not erase what has happened; it reminds us that even the deepest marks become part of our story. Beauty is not polished. It’s discovered.

FAULT LINE…

Some lines divide. Others lead us somewhere we never expected to go.

Every landscape is shaped by its fractures.
Every life is shaped by its turning points.

Sometimes the place we fear most becomes the place where everything begins.

The composition balances monochrome textures with delicate gold, allowing contrast to become a language rather than an opposition. From a distance the work appears calm and structured; up close, its surface reveals countless subtle shifts, traces and irregularities that refuse a single interpretation. About the moment we stop seeing a fault as an ending and begin recognising it as the beginning of another landscape.

Black and white may seem absolute. Yet neither truly exists on its own. Light carries shadow. Gold carries imperfection. Even the brightest pearl begins its life hidden beneath layers of sand. We often admire polished surfaces. Yet the most remarkable landscapes are shaped by pressure, erosion and time. They are not perfect…

Step closer…

Some things can only be understood when you are willing to come closer. Only appear when we change the distance from which we choose to see.

What if the line you have always called a fracture is, in fact, a path? How much we have to understand to chose to look differently?
